Mentor Volunteer as part of Social upliftment and Social responsibility contribution

I have been mentor volunteer in many roles, responsibilities, and capacities for a number of years.

Social Responsibility and contribution

I have spent time with various projects over the years volunteering and mentoring even before the phrase Social Responsibility was coined.

Sophumelele School - SAEP arts project

SAEP (South African Environmental Project)

	SAEP Aims to promote environmental education, support advocacy leadership and the use of information technology to enhance sustainable development. Sophumelele learners intent on creating artworks with fingerpaints and some colorful results.
	When I asked if they can draw they all chimed with a resounding "yes", which I found absolutely wonderful. They said it as if it was a daft question to ask, of course they can draw, anyone that can hold a pencil can draw, and yet when you asked the same question of the kids in my school, very few would have said yes at that age.
	Another day and they practice to resize an image.

TSiBA Mentorship programme

TSiBA, an acronym for the Tertiary School in Business Administration offers emerging leaders an opportunity to study an enriched Bachelor of Business Administration degree

My TSiBA mentees on an Educo camp in the Groot Winterhoek near Porterville in the Western Cape.

Two of my mentees took part in an international simulcast.

TSiBA are always looking for volunteer mentors and trainers to assist them with their programme.

Junior Achievers

For 2 years running I volunteered on the Junior Achievers programme teaching learners how to set up and start their own businesses.

Toastmasters Juniors

I also adjudicated Toastmaster public speaking competitions sponsored by Anglo American.

I work and live in Kommetjie, a far Southern Suburb of Cape Town, on the Atlantic Seaboard. Region: Western Cape (WC) in the Cape Province, (R.S.A.)
