| Coaching encourages growth and development of people. The Harvard Forum reports that coaches make a profound difference in the lives of those they work with. Coaching has been a fast growing profession. In business it is no longer considered unusual. As a result of the success of coaching, coaching has now become part of the culture, to the point that a lot of companies are training managers and HR staff in the coaching practice. As with most things, this has some pros and cons. A lot of training is happening. Many people who have had training, have not been able to set up practice for a number of reasons. One reason is that there is an over-supply at entry-level, another that people aren't taught to market themselves properly. Finding a niche market, creating partnerships, and letting marketing people do your PRO-work are ways of overcoming this dilemma.
